TY Capel Self Catering Cottage Beaumaris

We are delighted to present another wonderful self catering cottage to you.  Ty Capel self catering cottage Beaumaris sleeps 6 people comfortably and is ideally located with wonderful views over the Menai Straits with magical backdrop of the Snowdonia Mountain Range.

The cottage is the original Chapel House for horeb Welsh Baptist Chapel which was built in 1827 and has been sensitively modernised by the new owners Kevin and Tracey Boyle.

ROALD DAHL’S THE TWITS TO GET THEIR COMEUPPANCE AT BEAUMARIS CASTLE ON 21 JULY

Roald Dahl’s highly acclaimed children’s book, The Twits is to be performed at Beaumaris Castle on Saturday 21st July 2012.

The show promises to be slimy, sticky and revoltingly funny which will have children of all ages captivated as it tells the story of Mr and Mrs Twit who loathe each another and spend their lives playing nasty tricks on each other.  

This event will be performed by Illyria, a top-quality UK open-air touring theatre company who will bring The Twits to life amongst the wonderful setting of Beaumaris Castle.

Tros Yr Afon Self Catering Anglesey

Puffin Holidays is delighted to announce that the Anglesey Tourism Association has awarded Tros Yr Afon in Penmon 'Best Self-Catering Establishment 2012' at the recently held Anglesey Tourism Awards. There was some tough competition but Tros yr Afon stood out for the excellent value for money it offers holiday-makers. The improvements at Tros Yr Afon and the plan for the ongoing upgrade were commended as was the owner's hospitality."

Anglesey Tourism Awards 2012

We are delighted to announce that the two events organised by Castle Events (Puffin Holidays are a founder member of this events committee) have both been shortlisted for the Anglesey Tourism Awards 2012.  

The ATA said "There were an exceptional number of entries, all demonstrating that the tourism industry on the Island is very much thriving while also being of a very high standard.  The judging process, with a panel of independent and influential judges, was very comprehensive and we are delighted to inform you (Castle Events) that the Concert and Halloween events have been successful in being shortlisted for the Best Event category".

Beaumaris Castle Events

Beaumaris Castle Events was set up in March 2011 by six local businesses Bishopsgate House Hotel, Cole & Co, Janet Bell Gallery,Puffin Holidays, Red Boat Ice Cream Parlour and the White Lion Hotel.

The purpose of the Castle Events is to promote the town of Beaumaris and organise special events at the magnificient Beaumaris Castle for local residents and visitors to Anglesey.

So far the six localbusinness men have organised two events, 'The Concert in the Castle' and the 'Spooky Halloween Event'.  Both of these events turned out to be a great success and on the back of these events there are at least 4 more events planned for 2012.
