At the end of a winding country lane on the way to Penmon point (Puffin Island and Penmon Priory) and close to the rocky shoreline lies this peacefully set cluster of charming holiday properties, consisting of a period manor house with a courtyard of additional properties. Within walking distance (5 mins) of the properties is the Menai Strait and its rocky headlands, the breeding grounds for a variety of birds including the Puffin, Guillemot, Chough and Grebe. One of the best ways to spend a day is to take a stroll along the beach (depending on the tide) to the thriving resort of Beaumaris with its 13th-century Castle and Victorian Pier, where a cluster of cottages, quaint inns,restaurants and antique shops form the basis of the perfect old fashioned seaside resort.
